STAP/GEF webinar on Using Simple Future Narratives to Improve the Robustness of Project Designs

Virtual Webinar 10 February 2025 –The Scientific and Technical Advisory Panel (STAP) and the Global Environment Facility conducted two virtual webinars on "Using Simple Future Narratives to Improve the Robustness of Project Designs". These meetings brought together more than 120 participants drawn from various GEF Agencies, implementing partners, and the wider GEF partnership.  

Why Simple Future Narratives: GEF projects operate in dynamic systems shaped by climate change, economic trends, governance shifts, demographic changes, and social behavior. Yet project design often relies on assumptions about a single, linear future.
