The Scientific and Technical Advisory Panel of the Global Environment Facility provides independent advice to the GEF: it has 7 members – a Chair, and 6 individual members. The Panel is supported by a small, dedicated Secretariat of 6. The STAP Secretariat provides substantive and operational assistance in the delivery of Panel Members’ responsibilities. STAP is hosted by UNEP, on behalf of the GEF network.
